We are happy to announce that the Bauer "Own the Moment" Burlington project won the Gold Award for Hardline Speciality Store at the A.R.E. award ceremony held in Las Vegas beating out local nominee, an Unlikely Story bookstore & cafe in Plainville, MA.
Bauer Hockey's first-ever physical store is designed to provide the ultimate showcase for the 88-year-old brand and the sport itself, combining expert help, customer service extras and extensive selection.

The 20,000-sq.-ft. store features an indoor ice rink where customers can try out equipment before they buy it. Some 25 digital screens show visual highlights of the game and add to the excitement of the space. An on-site laboratory offers expert skate sharpening services.

ABOUT the A.R.E. AWARDS
The Architectural Retail Environments celebrated game-changing retail design on March 23 with an awards presentation in Las Vegas.
A record 75 awards were presented. They honored 58 projects from eight countries, including Vietnam and South Korea.
The industry's largest and most prestigious retail store design awards program, the A.R.E. Design Awards is in its 45th year.
The competition continues to intensify year after year.
The 2016 honorees were deemed tops among 349 projects.
